Lino Print a Book Cover

Print a Book Cover Lino Workshop / £32pp / 3hrs

Join us this autumn for a unique workshop, where you will get to learn the wonderful process of lino printing! In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn how to transfer, carve and print your chosen design using professional lino materials.

Once you have sent over your favourite book cover, your tutor Georgia will prepare it to make it suitable to translate into the lino process ahead of time. At the beginning of the workshop, you will trace and transfer this, with an opportunity to add or take out extra details to make it your own. Guided by your tutor, you will then carve this design out of an a5 lino block to create a relief print. Finally, you will bring your design to life by inking up and printing your block onto paper!

You will leave with at least 2 A4 prints of your favourite book to display proudly in your home.

As always, this workshop is beginner friendly and whilst instructed and assisted where needed, you are encouraged to bring your own creativity to the piece. Most importantly… We want you to try something new and have fun! Join us for this afternoon of printmaking, learn some new skills and meet lots of like minded people!

🎄There will also be festive treats for you to enjoy whilst creating!
