When are you open?

We are open Tuesday - Saturday from 9am - 5pm. Look forward to seeing you soon!
Do you take online orders?

No, at the moment we are a bricks-and-mortar bookshop only. If you want to support us but can't get to Daventry, then shopping on bookshop.org and selecting 'Suddenly on Sheaf Street' as your local store will mean you get to pick from an enormous selection of books and still support us financially too! The only orders we take online are tickets for events and workshops.
Can I order books in?

Absolutely. We have a huge range of books available on our shelves, but just let us know if there's something you specifically want and we can order it in especially for you! Generally, our customer orders take 1-2 days to arrive so you won't have to wait long for your order to come in. We will text, phone or email you when it arrives too.
Are you dog friendly?

Yes! We love dogs! We have treats and a water bowl in store ready for your four-legged friend. Oh, and plenty of fuss!
Do you work with schools?

Yes! We love working with schools and young people! If you're a school and you want to know more, please get in touch with us directly. We have previously hosted pop-up bookshops in schools, and are happy to help organise author/illustrator events too. We can also do school book orders, so let us know if you are looking to purchase any books - we are always happy to help!

Can I do my work experience at Suddenly on Sheaf Street?

We do take on a small number of placements each year, so please do get in touch with us directly if you are interested. Due to the small nature of the team and the workplace itself, we are only able to take on one person at a time.
