Print a Book Cover - Lino Workshop

Join us this spring for our brand new workshop, where you will get to learn the wonderful process of lino printing! In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn how to transfer, carve and print your chosen design using professional lino materials.

Once you have sent over the title of your favourite book, your tutor Georgia will prepare an image to make it suitable to translate into the lino process ahead of time. At the beginning of the workshop, you will build up your design using a range of motifs and markmaking related to your chosen book. Guided by your tutor, you will then carve this design out of your lino block to create a relief print. Finally, you will bring your design to life by inking up and printing your block onto paper!

You will leave with at least 2 prints of your favourite book to display proudly in your home.

As always, this workshop is beginner friendly and whilst instructed and assisted where needed, you are encouraged to bring your own creativity to the piece.
