About the event
We are very excited to announce that this Summer holiday, we will be hosting our very first Suddenly Short Story Competition for Young Writers. A fantastic opportunity for young avid writers to get creative and be in with the chance of having their work published!
The brief: To write an imaginative and engaging 500 word story beginning with 'Suddenly..'
Age categories: 5-8 / 9-12 / 13-16
Prize: The winner of each age category will have their story published in a collection, receive a £50 Suddenly voucher and a bookish goodie bag!
To enter, email over your/your young person's story to info@suddenlybookshop.com or hand into store - make sure to include name and age. Closing date: 30th August 2024.
