About the event
Join us for a day-long writing workshop, Three Ways into Creative Writing, hosted by Catherine Whittaker and Connie Ramsay-Bott. The workshop will focus on developing the skills for writing memoir, fiction and poetry with the chance to share your work and advice with like-minded writers.
Date: Sunday March 23rd.
Time: 10am to 4pm.
Venue: Upstairs at Suddenly on Sheaf Street, 22 Sheaf Street, Daventry NN11 4AB.
Price: £40
Lunch is not included. Please bring your own or visit one of the local cafes during the break (we recommend Ten Hands!)
About the tutors:
Cathy is a widely published poet and has won a number of poetry competitions. She is currently working on a pamphlet of poems about growing up in the Lake District. She has a degree in Creative Writing and tutors in Creative Writing and Poetry at The Percival Guildhouse adult education centre in Rugby.
Connie is a published novelist. Her short stories and poems have appeared in magazines and anthologies in the UK and the US. She has a degree in Creative Writing, and teaches privately in Stratford upon Avon. She is currently working on her second novel, and a pamphlet of poems about Vincent Van Gough.
